Return Policy

At eCostumeShop, we strive to make your shopping experience as fun and hassle-free as possible. We know how daunting a task finding the right costume can be, so we’ve designed the site to make it not only easy but enjoyable! To ensure timely delivery and to get the best selection, order early. Take full advantage of our sizing charts, utilize our product search capabilities so that you can quickly and easily find the perfect costume, go to “How to Shop Our Site” if you need help navigating the site, and our FAQs section may help with any other questions you may have. If you still have questions about the merchandise or the site, please feel free to contact us.

Because of the seasonal nature of this business and because most people wear a costume only once, eCostumeShop, like many in our industry, has a NO RETURN policy. We do this to keep our prices down and to guard against those customers who wear a costume once and then try to return it. What this means is that there are no returns or exchanges unless eCostumeShop made an error (e.g., you were sent the wrong product or damaged/defective merchandise). If you think that you received the wrong product or defective merchandise, you must first CALL eCostumeShop’s Customer Service Hotline (1.800.660.3865) so that we can evaluate your return/exchange and determine if a credit or exchange is warranted (please have your invoice and credit card number handy). If it is approved for return or exchange, we will then give you a RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER. You must then write that Return Authorization Number on the outside of the box that you are returning (otherwise, our warehouse will refuse the package and it will be returned to you). All return shipments must be postmarked within 5 days after receipt and/or delivery of your shipment. All unauthorized returns will be refused. We also reserve the right to inspect all returned items prior to determining if they will qualify for a credit. 

A 15% Restocking fee will be applied to all returns. There is no restocking fee for exchanges. Shipping charges for returns and exchanges are the sole responsibility of the customer. On exchanges, you may be charged up to $10.00 to cover our shipping costs to you, unless the item is being returned because of an error made by us. 

For hygiene purposes, there are no returns or exchanges on all makeup, teeth, shoes, socks, beards, mustaches, wigs and tights.

If you order after October 23rd, we cannot guarantee delivery by Halloween.

No EXCHANGES after October 15.

Merchandise will NOT be accepted for credit or exchange unless it has the original packaging.

A cancellation fee of 15% will be imposed on any orders that are not cancelled within 24 hours after being placed.
